MSc in Psychotherapy, Certified Transactional Analyst
I have an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and am a Certified Relational Transactional Analyst (P), having trained at Metanoia, London. I also hold a diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and have worked in organisations using Person Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT approaches. My relational approach ensures that I place the relationship at the centre of my work when looking at one specific issue, or dealing with broader, more complex problems over a longer time frame.
I have worked for over 10 years within the mental health sector and have trained for a further 6 years specifically as a Psychotherapist. As well as my private practice I have worked in NHS settings (acute and non-acute), private and state educational settings as well as various charitable organisations etc. I've gained a wide range of experience; working with survivors of abuse, disability issues, boarding school experiences, to name but a few.
I have worked extensively with adult/couple issues, but have experience of working with young people (dealing with issues such as stress, self-harm, eating disorders, self-esteem, peer pressure etc). Since March 2020 I have extensive experience of working online.
