My Approach

I bring a deep commitment to care and mental wellbeing into my counselling practice. Working holistically, I offer an integrative approach tailored to each client's individual needs, personal history, and current circumstances—without any expectation to fit into a one-size-fits-all model of therapy.

My practice draws on person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural approaches, allowing for flexibility and responsiveness to what each client needs in the moment.

I also enjoy working creatively, offering ways to explore and express experiences that may be difficult to put into words. This might include early experiences from childhood before language developed, the impact of trauma that feels too overwhelming to articulate verbally, or simply a preference for a more imaginative and expressive therapeutic space.

In addition to my core training, I have completed further professional development in approaches such as inner child work, parts of self, Gestalt therapy, dream analysis, and intergenerational trauma. These tools help deepen the therapeutic process and support a more nuanced understanding of your experience.

The service I offer is truly bespoke—developed with your needs at the centre. Together, we create a therapeutic relationship built on safety, trust, and collaboration.

If you have any questions or would like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

About Me

I offer a private and confidential counselling service for adults, either in person in central Norwich, Norfolk, or online throughout the UK.

My aim is to provide a supportive space where you can explore difficult experiences or significant moments in your life—whether past, present, or future. Together, we can work toward a clearer understanding of the challenges you’re facing, at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with a wide range of clients and have particular experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism and others who may experience sensory sensitivities. I strive to make sessions as accessible and comfortable as possible, and I’m happy to adjust the environment to meet your needs. I also enjoy working creatively, and we can collaborate on ways to explore feelings and experiences that may be difficult to express with words.

I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and offer a non-judgmental, inclusive space to explore concerns, questions, or fears around identity, relationships, or other personal experiences.

If you have any questions about how we might work together, I’d be glad to talk them through with you.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have the privilege of working with many individuals who identify as having ADHD, each with their own unique strengths and challenges. As someone who also identifies as neurodivergent, I bring both lived experience and professional understanding to my work. I’ve completed additional training in ADHD to support a compassionate, informed approach that recognises the diversity within the ADHD community.
I have a background in adult health and social care, with experience supporting older adults and their families as they navigate age-related challenges. This has included helping individuals cope with changes such as loss of independence, declining health, mobility issues, grief, and feelings of loneliness.
I have the privilege of working with many autistic individuals, each with their own unique ways of experiencing and engaging with the world. As someone who also identifies as neurodivergent, I bring both personal insight and professional understanding to my practice. I’ve completed additional training in Autism to ensure my approach is supportive, respectful, and informed by the diverse experiences within the autistic community.
I believe everyone should have access to counselling, and by offering online sessions, I’m able to support those who may find it difficult to attend in person. I also provide a flexible, hybrid approach that combines both in-person and online sessions to best suit individual needs.
I work in a trauma-informed way, with a strong awareness of the importance of safety when supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. To deepen my practice, I have completed additional training in intergenerational trauma and shame, which informs and enhances my therapeutic approach.
