My Approach

My therapeutic approach to working with individuals, couples and groups is psychodynamic, group analytic and informed by attachment theory

About Me

I am a group analyst, individual psychodynamic psychotherapist and couples therapist. I have been seeing clients in my private practice in Brighton since 2005. I became a member of the Institute of Group Analysis in 2006. I trained for working with couples at the Tavistock Clinic in 2010 and I have a certificate psychosexual studies from Tavistock Relationships. I am the author of 'How Psychotherapy Helps Us Understand Sexual Relationships' published in 2019 by Routledge.

I work with

  • Couples
  • Groups
  • Individuals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I am particularly interested in the wide variety of issues couples face.
Whether clients are seeking individual therapy, couples therapy or group therapy, I believe all therapy is about our relationships: our formative relationships in our family of origin, our adult relationships, work relationships, friendships, and intimate relationships.
