I take into consideration and incorporate various techniques and approaches to suit the individual and their therapeutic needs. This means that I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy, as it would seem limiting to not consider various ways to support a client. I place great emphasis on understanding the individual, through the exploration of their thoughts, feelings and personal experiences. Please go to my website for further details regarding my therapy approach and professional experience.
I aim to bring to awareness the mind/body states of the client during therapy through Mindfulness. I seek to clarify meaning by working with my clients to bring to awareness any experiences which may have an impact on their self-development. I can acknowledge that it may be challenging to share so openly with a therapist, but it is my therapeutic commitment to ensure that my clients have a safe space to be heard and supported.
If you are looking for emotional support in a caring environment where you can feel heard and valued, I am able to offer this to you as part of my therapeutic services. Perhaps you have been experiencing ongoing concerns and require professional support; perhaps something is "missing" from your life or you have feelings of "emptiness"...whatever your concern may be, I am sure we can explore what may be going on for you.
I offer both short term counselling and psychotherapy to adults and young adults/students in the East Finchley area, as well as online (video). You are welcome to get in contact with me via email, I will then arrange a brief phone call with you to discuss your concerns in more detail.
I hold full accreditation status with UKCP and I comply with the professional standards and ethics set out in the UKCP Ethical Framework.
