We are all unique and present different ranges of issues requiring highly tailored therapy. As a UKCP accredited, Clinical Integrative Psychotherapist, qualified (with Distinction), at MSc level. I work in a relational/humanistic way, offering myself, my knowledge, and life experience to an extensive range of clients, to encourage growth and healing. Commissioned to work with the Nottinghamshire Police, BAME Crown Prosecution Service, NHS, whilst working privately, supporting Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) and private clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma and grief, childhood issues and relationship issues.
I offer a range of psychotherapeutic interventions, for example: using movement, play, art and guided imagery to assist my work. Offering short and long-term psychotherapy in a relaxed, and professional environment where you can explore/learn about yourself, understand your thinking, feelings and behaviours in relation to your here and now problems.
After the global recovery of COVID-19 and #BlackLivesMatter, we are all experiencing unprecedented pressures and difficulties. I'm a psychotherapist working *within* the world as a mixed-race woman, stewarding psychotherapeutic conversations whilst balancing intersections of race/sexuality/gender/disability and other intersects which make you unique.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
