Over the past 28 years, I have gained a range of experiences working with children, young people and families. I have gathered this experience in a variety of roles, which has included, family support worker, residential social worker, mobile intervention worker (working with young people within gangs and their families), clinical practitioner, and presently as a UKCP registered Family & Systemic Psychotherapist (Lead Clinician - Teaching & Clinical practice senior role).
I feel privileged to have been in such influencing roles (both on myself, other professionals and clients), as I feel this has enabled and promoted my skills in being an effective practitioner, within teams, interagency working, being able to take on and understand the views of others, but also state my position/views in a constructive way.
I also have a private practice, in which I offer sessions to children, young people, individuals, couples and families, working with a range of difficulties and dilemmas.
