Hello, I’m Anne. I have a gentle approach to therapy where I listen carefully to you and then we talk together. I’m interested in discovering why you are as you are, and often find that our past contains helpful clues.
Understanding yourself can help you feel more in control. I aim to help you increase your self-awareness - we all have blind spots. It gives you the option in the moment of doing things differently from your old pattern of behaviour.
I work with a range of problems such as anxiety and depression, and I am particularly interested in relationships. These could be with your parents, your children, your siblings, your friends, your work colleagues and of course your partners. You’re welcome to come as an individual or as a couple - both options have their advantages.
And relationships also include the ones you have lost through bereavement which you may need help in coming to terms with.
