I have been trained as a Systemic Family Therapist for almost 20 years, and as a Systemic Supervisor for 10 years. My core profession is Clinical Psychology, and since qualifying I have worked in the fields of Adult Addiction, Adult Mental Health, CAMHS, including Fostering and Adoption, Parent-Infant work, and Child and Adult Psychological Medicine.
I work systemically with individuals, couples and families, in the Oxford area. I also do Life Transition Consultation, which is a package to support life changes around both work and home, using a systemic framework.
I provide a calm supportive environment in which to work collaboratively with clients to identify the changes they wish to make. I pay attention to issues of gender, race, culture, disability, sexuality and other areas of difference which impact on our experience and lives. I incorporate Mindfulness/meditation where this would be helpful. These practices provide me with the foundation of my own personal wellbeing and support my professional practice.
