My Approach

I firmly believe that we need relationships in order to heal, recover, and grow. Because of this, our therapy space is built entirely on our connection. I provide a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where you can tell your story on your terms, knowing you will be deeply heard, understood, and empowered.I absolutely love what I do. It is a huge privilege to be invited into your world and to walk alongside you on your journey. In our sessions, you can expect:

Deep Empathy: A gentle, non-judgmental space to unpack heavy emotions.

Warm Nurturing: Consistent support as you explore vulnerable parts of yourself.

A Touch of Spirituality: Room for deeper existential meaning and holistic healing.

A Sprinkling of Humour: Yes, really! I invite all the different parts of who you are into the room, including the parts that need to laugh.

Areas of Focus:
While I work with a wide range of life struggles, I have a dedicated interest and experience in supporting those impacted by narcissism and narcissistic abuse.I also have extensive experience working with:Anxiety and depressionChildhood trauma and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD)Bereavement and lossPersonality disorders.

Taking the First Step:
I know exactly how daunting it can be to choose the right therapist. I have sat in that client chair many times over the years when life felt like a struggle. It is incredibly important that you feel totally at ease with the person you invite into your private world. You do not have to figure this out alone. Please feel free to send me a message so we can arrange a brief time to talk and see if we are a good fit. If it turns out I am not the right therapist for you, I will gladly help you find someone who is

About Me

"Therapy is about understanding the self that you are. But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself — to let go of the limiting stories you've told yourself about who you are so that you aren't trapped by them..." — Lori GottliebHi,

I'm Zoe. I am an Integrative and Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist. It’s a bit of a mouthful, isn't it? Put simply, this approach gives us a rich toolkit to understand exactly what is happening in your life and why. Together, we will look for ways to make meaningful changes so you can move forward

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Relationships are where we hurt, but they are also where we heal. Whether you are struggling with repeating toxic patterns, navigating the painful fallout of narcissistic relationships, or finding it difficult to communicate your boundaries, our relational dynamics shape our entire quality of life.Using Transactional Analysis, we will look under the surface of your relationships. Together, we will explore: Unconscious Patterns: Understanding the hidden "games" or dynamics you might find yourself stuck in with others. Early Life Scripts: Discovering how your past experiences shaped your current style of relating and connecting. Your Different 'Parts': Learning how your inner child or protective parts react during conflict or vulnerability. By building a safe, trusting, and collaborative therapeutic relationship between the two of us, you will get a live space to practice new ways of relating. I will help you let go of old, protective stories that no longer serve you, allowing you to build authentic, secure, and empowering connections with others.
Trauma fragments how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Whether you are experiencing the long-term impact of childhood trauma, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), or the specific psychological aftermath of narcissistic abuse, trauma often leaves you stuck repeating old survival patterns. Using an Integrative and Transactional Analysis framework, I help you gently look at these patterns. We will work together to safely untangle the "limiting stories" and coping mechanisms that kept you safe in the past, but are currently trapping you in the present.Trauma cannot heal in isolation; it heals in connection. My approach is deeply relational, providing a steady, warm, and nurturing space where your nervous system can finally learn to settle. Together, we will invite every single part of you—the wounded, the hidden, and the resilient—back into the room, helping you process your past so you can finally inhabit your present
