My approach is psychodynamic, trauma-informed and attachment-informed.
I am a fully qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist (BPC, UKCP, FPC). I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science. In addition, I have a professional certificate in Applied Neuroscience and Brain Health and an ICF-accredited certificate in Life Coaching.
I am experienced and skilled in working with a wide variety of mental health challenges, interpersonal relationship issues and emotional difficulties. I have specialised expertise working with depression, anxiety, trauma and body image issues. I am particularly interested in the mind-body connection and how trauma can affect self-esteem, body image, and the ability to manage intimacy in relationships.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a powerful talking therapy. Often unresolved and troubling past experiences are repeated in the present; I can help bring about an understanding of these experiences in therapy. I encourage you to build self-awareness while deeply exploring your thoughts and feelings to create beneficial, long-lasting change.
In my private practice in Belgravia, I offer open-ended psychodynamic psychotherapy and time-limited (12 weeks) therapy.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
