My approach is integrative and rooted in relational Transactional Analysis.
Together, we explore what is happening now and the patterns underneath it: how familiar ways of coping and relating developed, what they may once have helped you manage, and how they continue to affect you today.
I do not see these patterns as faults. Often they developed for good reasons. Therapy can help you understand them with greater compassion and create more awareness, self-acceptance and choice in how you relate to yourself and others.
I offer short- and long-term psychotherapy, in person in London and online, in English, French and Japanese.
Perhaps the way you have been coping has worked for a long time, but no longer feels sustainable. You may feel anxious or exhausted, find yourself repeating familiar relationship patterns, or have lost touch with what you actually want.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, self-doubt, perfectionism, questions of identity and belonging, or periods of change and uncertainty.
You do not need to be in crisis to start therapy. Sometimes it begins simply with a sense that something is stuck or no longer quite right.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
