My approach to working is based around what you bring, while drawing on a range of different theories that are relevant to the work. I am existential-analytic psychotherapist and the schools of thought that I primarily draw on are existential, analytic, alongside phenomenological and humanistic. I work with a number of theories because I recognise that there is not a one size fits all in therapy.
I have been working in therapeutic services for over 12 years within a variety of organisations, including the NHS, charities and privately. I have worked with people with a range of life experiences and backgrounds over the years. I work with people experiencing emotional distress, major life changes or those who want to make meaning and deeper understanding of themselves and life experiences. I offer a safe, secure and non judgement place to speak and be heard.
I would welcome you to get in contact for 10-15 mins telephone conversation (free) to discuss what you are looking for before deciding if you would like to meet for a first session.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
