My Approach

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, meaning I have a flexible, collaborative and whole-person approach to therapy. Rather than following one method, I draw on a range of established therapeutic approaches to individualise treatment according to a person’s needs and preferences. This approach recognises that each of us is unique, and that our experiences are shaped by our connections with others, sense of identity, and broader social environment. Our work together may involve exploring thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, generational history, physical responses, culture, and broader life circumstances according to what feels most meaningful.

My intention is to support you in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, reconsidering perspectives that may no longer be helpful, and finding different ways to connect with yourself and with others. My hope is that you will feel more secure, steady, and able to move forward in your life, while learning to trust, embrace, and value yourself for the unique person you are.

At the heart of my work is a respectful, compassionate and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship in which you can feel heard, understood and supported. Together, we can explore patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing, understand how past experiences influence the present, and identify strategies that help you cope, grow and create meaningful change. I also encourage listening to the body, to develop a greater sense of awareness in mind-body balance and innate wisdom.

I offer both short term and long term, weekly online sessions.

About Me

My clinical background in the NHS includes extensive experience in specialist counselling, supporting families affected by trauma and loss. I also work with a range of charities, supporting survivors of sexual trauma and abuse, as well as people living with chronic or terminal illness and those who care for them. These experiences inform my approach that places warmth, compassion, openness, and honesty at the centre of our work together. I have a particular interest in working with people who feel lost, alone, or disconnected from their own lives and I believe we all have moments when we need to know that someone is alongside us.
