Seeking help takes courage. Feelings of anxiety, confusion and isolation can be overwhelming and acknowledging you need help is a brave first step.
My role as your counsellor is to help you make sense of what you are experiencing, in a trusting and supportive way. I do that by offering a warm and compassionate space that encourages you to be open with your thoughts and feelings, and to be able to speak about what is on your mind without fear or judgement.
I offer a relational way of working, believing that our early experiences shape who we are and how we experience the world. As we work together, we may explore patterns of connection and communication, reflect on past and present relationships and look at how negative thoughts and emotions may be impacting your life.
Finding what helps and makes sense for you is a joint process and we work at a pace that feels right for you. As an Integrative Counsellor I draw from a range of approaches to suit your individual needs, offering new perspectives and empowering meaningful change and growth.
I work with adult individuals on either a short- or long-term basis.
As an Accredited Member of the UKCP and a Registered Member of the BACP, I am committed to practising in an inclusive way, creating a space that welcomes and respects diversity.
I offer a free initial 30 minute telephone call in the first instance where we will talk about what has brought you to counselling.
Within my counselling practice I hope to offer a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. Together we will explore what has brought you to counselling and work towards making sense of your experiences.
