My Approach

I try to help clients feel comfortable and at ease as they begin therapy. I'm non-judgemental, kind and compassionate and provide a confidential space where clients can express their feelings and explore some of the difficulties and challenges they may be experiencing. I'm not fixed to one modality or one school of thought. I work alongside my clients to adapt to their needs, understanding that everyone’s experience of life is different. Many choose talking therapy, but for people who get stuck or lost for words, I introduce various art forms to the therapy space to help them express what they feel through other means.

About Me

Hello. I completely understand that finding a therapist and then starting therapy can be a daunting process. In me, you'll find a warm, approachable person with maturity and a gentle sense of humour. I'm a Psychotherapist with an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy (Distinction). I offer talking therapy and art therapy to individuals, whether face-to-face, online or via telephone. I work in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Clapham on Wednesdays and online on Thursdays.

I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients from many cultures and socio-economic backgrounds and I'm committed to working inclusively. I am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and follow its standards of proficiency. I also abide by the UKCP’s ethical framework for good practice. I receive regular supervision and am committed to continued growth and development as a psychotherapist through regular trainings.

My work in the NHS, the charity sector and in private practice has enabled me to support clients with a wide range of presenting issues, including drug and alcohol addiction and recovery, domestic violence and sexual abuse, personality disorders, PTSD, relationship traumas, bereavement, loss, and long-term illness.
