My Approach

As a Systemic Psychotherapist offering a non-judgemental space that separates the problem from the person. I provide a dynamic, creative, and bespoke practice, adapted to meet your unique needs. We’ll explore your emotions and experiences with care and curiosity, making sense of them through the lenses of culture, faith, values, family scripts, neurodivergence, and intergenerational trauma, to nurture growth, accountability, and empowered, authentic change. As a neuro‑affirmative systemic psychotherapist, I offer a safe, compassionate space where your experiences are honoured and your identity is celebrated. My approach is trauma‑informed and I work systemically, meaning I consider the wider contexts—family, culture, faith, values, and social constructs—that shape your story. Whether you’re navigating intergenerational patterns, anxiety, seeking to strengthen relationships, trauma, or wanting to embrace your authentic self, I adapt interventions to your unique needs. I walk alongside you with curiosity and care, supporting growth, accountability, and hope.

About Me

I am a UKCP-accredited Systemic psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience of a combination of paediatric nursing and psychotherapy. Combining compassion with expertise, I help clients achieve their therapeutic goals. As a systemic therapy educator, I keep my practice current with evidence-based approaches. I welcome individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds, fostering an inclusive space for meaningful change. As someone with lived and professional experience of neurodivergence and mental health, I hold a grounded, compassionate understanding of diverse ways of being. My dual qualifications as a paediatric nurse and systemic psychotherapist work across mental and physical health. Supporting clients with long term life limiting conditions and their psychological impact and supporting those with mental health concerns, employment issues as well as couples and relationship difficulties.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I support neurodivergent people to make sense of their authentic identity by exploring the relational, cultural, and structural contexts that shape their experiences. Together, we honour the ways their nervous systems move through the world and co‑create sustainable strategies for thriving in environments not designed with their needs in mind.
I support couples by helping them understand the relational patterns they get caught in, make sense of the emotions and meanings beneath them, and find safer, more connected ways of communicating and responding to one another.
I support clients facing employment difficulties by helping them understand the relational and organisational patterns shaping their work experiences. Together, we explore the dynamics influencing confidence, communication, and collaboration, and develop grounded, self‑advocacy strategies that enable them to navigate workplace challenges and engage with the system in ways that feel clearer, safer, and more empowered.

I support clients living with terminal illness or life limiting conditions by helping them make sense of their experience within the wider web of relationships, meanings, hopes, and fears that surround them. Together, we explore how illness reshapes identity, connection, and daily life, and we co‑create compassionate, grounded ways of coping, communicating, and finding moments of steadiness and dignity in a profoundly challenging time.
