About Me

I am a fully qualified and experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I use an integrative approach to therapy, and the therapeutic relationship is based on sensitivity, respect and an appreciation of all issues. Therapy is an opportunity for you to share personal difficulties with a trusted, professional and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor.


I can provide the space and time for your personal growth as well as change. Therapy can help you understand the source of any distress or confusion you may be experiencing. If we can understand the reasons for these uncomfortable feelings it can often bring freedom, and the opportunity to consider an alternative way of being. If you feel depressed or low, or are finding yourself overly worried, suffering from anxiety about life or aspects of life, feeling traumatised, overwhelmed, if you feel a loss or just out of sorts just contact me we can have a reassuring chat about therapy and how it can help you.


I use a range of integrative therapies tailored specifically around you; including Sand Tray Therapy and Creative Therapy, CBT, Existential, Gestalt, Phenomonalogical. I am also an EMDR Therapy practitioner, this is a NICE recognised therapy for the treatment of trauma, anxiety and phobias.


I use a gentle and informal style of therapy, in a warm and welcoming environment of my consulting room in Morpeth, Northumberland.
