I believe that healing happens through relationship. Our work together is shaped by your experience, your pace, and what feels important to you. As we explore the patterns that have developed over your life, you'll have the opportunity to understand where they come from, keep what still serves you, and gently let go of what no longer does.
My own experience of therapy has shown me how powerful it is to be met with acceptance, curiosity and compassion. I know how difficult it can be to share the parts of ourselves we usually keep hidden, and how transformative it can be to do so in a relationship that feels safe enough.
Alongside my work as a psychotherapist, I spent more than 30 years in education, supporting children, young people and adults to learn, grow and overcome challenges. That experience continues to shape the way I work today. I bring curiosity, creativity and respect for each person's unique story, trusting that meaningful change begins when we feel genuinely heard and understood.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when we feel safe enough to be ourselves, new possibilities begin to emerge.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
