My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis (TA), a powerful and accessible model for understanding how we relate to ourselves and others. I was drawn to TA because of its emphasis on self-awareness, personal growth, and developing healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Before training as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I explored and trained in a range of therapeutic approaches that continue to inform my work today. I hold a Certificate in Life Coaching and am a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I also qualified as a Meditation Teacher in 2011 and a Yoga Teacher in 2013 through the DRU International School of Yoga, and have taught yoga and meditation to groups and individuals for several years. Most recently, I completed teacher training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) with the University of Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.
These experiences have deepened my belief in the importance of compassion, presence, and connection — values that continue to guide my work with clients today.
Hi, I’m Suzanne. I’m a qualified Psychotherapist and I work with individuals and couples aged 18 and over. I offer 50-minute counselling sessions both in person — in a calm, private and welcoming space in the heart of Winchester — and online, so you can access support in a way that works best for you.
Over the years, I’ve supported clients through a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and low self-esteem. I believe therapy is about helping you reconnect with your true self and supporting you to build a happier, more balanced, and fulfilling life.
To help you decide if I’m the right counsellor for you, I offer a free 30-minute online or phone consultation. This is a gentle, no-pressure opportunity for us to talk through what’s bringing you to counselling, answer any questions you may have, and give you a feel for how we might work together.
If you’d like to arrange your free consultation or find out more about the way I work, I’d love to hear from you.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
