I draw on a number of theoretical models and modalities, tailoring my approach according to each individual and what they find most helpful. I see therapy as going on a creative, collaborative and transformative journey in which I support people to understand and know themselves better. In my experience this results in them accessing greater internal resource and finding more richness in their lives.
I often find that working with images and with dreams can be particularly helpful in my work as this shifts the locus of insight and empowerment away from the therapist and back to the client. I am a holistic practitioner so I gently encourage somatic awareness and integration. I genuinely love my work and am dedicated to supporting people to find resilience and live well in these challenging times.
I'm an integrative psychotherapist and supervisor with over 20 years experience in the field.
