My integrative training means I can draw from many modalities to help understand my clients’ unique patterns of thinking and the ways in which we relate to ourselves and others. I believe our minds and bodies are deeply connected so if it feels useful, part of our work could consider how what we feel emotionally relates to what we feel physically.
There’s lots of mystery surrounding therapy so I am clear, consistent and compassionate. You won’t be interrogated or put under pressure and there won’t be anything ‘done to you.’ The work is led by you and our goal is always to help you come to a deeper understanding of yourself. In my experience, being listened to deeply and compassionately can help to ease overwhelming emotions and make space for new perspective when we feel submerged in difficulty.
My name is Siobhan Farrimond and I am an accredited UKCP registered psychotherapist practising in Salisbury, Wiltshire and online.
I work with adults, exploring the issues they feel may be causing them difficulty or preventing their sense of joy, connection and ability to make positive changes. It can be daunting to approach a therapist, but I offer therapy that is compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental. I hold a diploma and a Masters degree in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. I am also fully accredited as a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist registered with UKCP, the leading regulator for psychotherapy in the UK.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
