In our work together, I pay close attention to how the nervous system, attachment patterns, and past experiences shape present-day challenges. Being trauma-informed means I'm aware of the complex impact of trauma on how people experience distress and the ways they've learned to cope. I work gently and respectfully, avoiding pathologizing coping strategies.
I work collaboratively and integratively, drawing on Attachment and Polyvagal Theory, CBT, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, Psychoeducation, Schema Therapy, and Relational Transactional Analysis — all within a trauma-informed framework.
Together we'll explore your emotions and understand the patterns that have developed in your life. Through this process, you'll reconnect with your own wisdom and strengthen self-trust. We'll work on boundaries and quieting your inner critic, supporting you in developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Some clients benefit from practical tools; others from space to process and make sense of their experiences - many find a blend of both helpful.
My aim is to help you gain clarity about your needs, develop sustainable ways of coping, and experience meaningful, lasting change in your everyday life.
I’m Simone, an experienced psychotherapist passionate about delivering safe and effective therapy which improves psychological health and builds resilience.
I have spent many years studying, training and supporting adults through emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. I’m committed to creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore your experiences without pressure to perform or be anything other than yourself.
I work with adults experiencing difficulties for all kinds of reasons - people who want to make sense of their experience, understand why they’re struggling, and find a way forward that works for them.
I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, boundary challenges, relationship difficulties, and perfectionism. Many clients are processing childhood trauma, navigating emotional regulation, or rethinking unhelpful coping strategies.
I specialise in neurodivergent-affirming therapy for autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD adults.
I'm deeply committed to ongoing professional development - not just because it's best practice, but because I genuinely love it. I regularly attend training and workshops, engage in supervision, and immerse myself in emerging research about trauma, neurodivergence, and therapeutic approaches. For me, learning is both a professional responsibility and a personal passion.
I offer sessions in person in Malvern or online via Zoom, with availability on most weekdays and early evenings.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
