My Approach

I am passionate about facilitating transformation and healing, and providing a safe and confidential space where you can bring all of your Self, your feelings, your pain, your joy and dreams, your frustrations, your wisdom, your light and shadows.

My approach is Relational, Integrative and Transpersonal (Spiritual).
Sessions mainly involve talking, but breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation and creativity may also be useful.
Psychotherapy is a word that derives from ancient Greek and means 'liberating the soul'. Our sessions together are an opportunity to talk about concerns and issues that might be difficult to share with family and friends and that might feel overwhelming to deal with alone.

It is a chance to feel supported, gain insight and make positive changes, in a way which respects your values, personal resources and freedom of choice.

If this is something that could be healing for you, please get in touch to find out more or to book an initial consultation.

About Me

I work with individuals and couples who are navigating challenges in their relationships — whether you're facing communication breakdowns, conflict, infidelity, intimacy issues, or the impact of life transitions. My aim is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore patterns, express needs, and build healthier, more connected relationships.

Relationship therapy isn’t only for couples in crisis — many people seek support to strengthen their bond, deepen emotional intimacy, or better understand themselves in the context of relationships. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and non-traditional relationship structures.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based methods, while also allowing room for your unique story and values. Whether you're attending sessions individually or as a couple, we’ll work together to understand what’s happening and find a way forward that feels meaningful and sustainable.

My vision as a therapist is to hold myself accountable in working towards diversity, equity, inclusivity and belonging and am committed to creating a space that welcomes diversity in all its forms, recognising that it is the combination of different perspectives and life experiences that leads us to our best selves.
I welcome those from underrepresented backgrounds and culture and from all walks of life regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, physical impairment, socioeconomic background or age.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a particular interest in working with people whose concerns or anxieties date back to childhood and teenage years, and how this might impact on their work and relationships. I’m also interested in exploring spiritual, religious and philosophical concerns.
I am a certified Transpersonal Intimate Couple and Relationship Therapist. My approach is transpersonal and integrative. I take a positive view of relationships even though it can be hard to see them as anything other than negative when we are having relationship difficulties. They can be spaces for psychological, emotional, and spiritual growth, where challenges aren't seen as negative but as opportunities for healing and transformation. I can help you discover insights into your relationship dynamics and connect in healthier ways, in a supportive and safe atmosphere that facilitates mutual understanding and the development of your relationship. Whether you are hoping to navigate a relationship crisis, or seeking support to separate with care and mutual respect, couples sessions can provide a safe and reflective space. Sessions are available online or in person, from 60 minutes in length, although 90 minutes is recommended for deeper relational work. Couples who are not currently in crisis may benefit from a course of relationship coaching, much like an MOT for the relationship. You may wish to strengthen the overall quality of your connection, or work through a particular life transition or challenge, such as preparing for a baby, caring for an elderly parent, or adjusting to life together after children leave home. If you decide that you would like to see me for couples counselling, here are some things that you will need to know; Each session will last for 1 hour or 1h30 min and will take place weekly for the first few weeks at which point frequency may change according to your needs which will be reviewed with you. My current fees are £100 for 1 hour session and £150 for 1h30 min session. All client work is held within a clear ethical framework, including a strict commitment to confidentiality, professional integrity, and respectful therapeutic practice.
