I provide a compassionate, non judgemental, confidential space for us to work on your goals and offer a space to explore and change the internal dialogue/belief system you may have from one that is negative and self critical, to one that is based upon self respect. One does not have to feel beholden to past experiences -
Epigenetics confirms this and we have more clinical resources to support how change can be facilitated long term.
I incorporate a number of different modalities into the way I work and these include Neuroscience and Neuroplasticity, Interpersonal neurobiology, Heart Brain Coherance, Attachment Theories, Transactional Analysis and EMDR therapy. Additionally I utilise my knowledge of Somatic and Energy related visualisation techniques - This includes meditation and self-awarenness processes to harness more of the power of our minds; should you find this of interest.
Sessions for individuals and couples are generally on a weekly basis to begin with
and then may move to
fortnightly or monthly check ins.
Each session is 50 minutes long however the first session may be a full hour.
I suggest we work together for a minimum of 4 sessions in order to build the working alliance and decide from that time on how we work together ongoing.
I offer a brief focused approach; which is suitable for working on a number of life situations which you may want to explore/change more rapidly.
I also offer long term therapy options; which suit when a client wants to explore their past and relationships in more depth.
I offer remote sessions throughout the week with daytime and evening availability.
On an occasional basis I can offer Face to Face sessions alongside in 2 private and discreet therapy rooms -
Locations are in: Ealing near Chiswick, Brentford, Richmond, Kew and Cobham, Surrey near Oxshott, Leatherhead, Weybridge and Esher
I regularly discuss my work with my clinical supervisor. This is standard practice in my field and safeguards both you and I. My supervisor is bound by the same code of ethics which I adhere to
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist (Msc, CTA with distinction), Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (PG Dip Psych),
Relational Transactional Analyst (CTA) and Clinical Supervisor.
I offer EMDR therapy as adjunct approach when suitable upon request.
I work both long term and short term with individuals and couples.
People approach therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes it is just to get clear about a past experience or to change a habit. Often I have found that identifying blocks and emotional obstacles that stand in the way of a client living their full potential becomes the core of our work.
I offer a variety of techniques which can assist in removing the emotional and psychological obstacles in order to reach my clients' goals.
Autonomy stands as my overarching vision for each client's approach to their life. Your vision is unique and I support you in the aims you want to achieve so you can live your life your way and beyond limitation.
I offer an impartial ear and a collaborative space for you to find the clarity or resolve you may be seeking. I believe the answers we seek are within us.
We just need to know how to connect with our truth no longer bound to pre-programming from past experiences.
There are a number of approaches and modalities that I am well versed in which I can offer to help facilitate the change you want to achieve.
I tailor my approach to each client's presenting needs and we discuss this in depth during initial free consultation.
