My Approach

People often tell me I’m easy to talk to. Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and human. I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when the things you want to talk about are wrapped up in shame, fear, grief, or confusion. My aim is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or “have it all figured out” before you arrive.

I work in an attachment-informed and trauma-responsive way, which means I’m interested not just in what’s happening now, but in the experiences and patterns that may sit underneath it. Sometimes our minds know one thing, while our bodies, relationships, or reactions seem to tell a different story. Together, we can gently make sense of that.

About Me

I’m an accredited, Integrative Psychosexual, Relationship and Trauma Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and trainer. I work with individuals and couples who may be struggling with intimacy, relationships, confidence, communication, desire, sexual difficulties, trauma, or simply feeling disconnected from themselves or others.
My style is warm, curious, and conversational. I often use humour, metaphor, and everyday language to help make difficult conversations feel less intimidating. Therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy or clinical. While we may work with painful experiences, therapy can also be about reconnecting with confidence, pleasure, meaning, authenticity, and a stronger relationship with yourself.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Couples therapy offers a space to slow things down and better understand what is happening between you. I work with couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, intimacy issues, mismatched desire, betrayal, life transitions, or feelings of distance and disconnection. My approach is balanced, collaborative, and non-blaming, helping both people feel heard while working towards greater understanding and connection.
Relationships can leave us feeling connected, secure, confused, lonely, hurt, or stuck — sometimes all at once. I support people who are struggling with communication, conflict, attachment patterns, trust, emotional disconnection, dating difficulties, affairs, separation, or repeating painful relationship dynamics. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, your needs, and the patterns that show up in connection with others.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of sexual difficulties, including low desire, difficulties with arousal or orgasm, pain during sex, erection difficulties, sexual anxiety, compulsive sexual behaviours, and the impact of stress, menopause, trauma, or relationship difficulties on intimacy. These conversations can feel incredibly vulnerable, so I aim to create a space that feels safe, open, and free from judgement.
I work with people who have experienced sexual abuse or sexual trauma, whether this happened recently or many years ago. The impact can show up in many different ways — emotionally, physically, sexually, or within relationships. Some people struggle with shame, anxiety, intimacy, boundaries, body image, or feeling disconnected from themselves, while others simply carry a sense that something still feels unresolved. Therapy offers a compassionate, non-judgemental space to gently explore these experiences and their impact, at a pace that feels safe for you.
Trauma can affect how we feel about ourselves, our bodies, our relationships, and our sense of safety in the world. Sometimes its impact is obvious, and sometimes it shows up more quietly through anxiety, shame, emotional overwhelm, numbness, relationship struggles, or difficulties with intimacy and trust. I work in a trauma-informed way, helping clients make sense of their experiences at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
