As a Family Systemic Psychotherapist, I approach therapy with the belief that every member of the family system has an important voice and role in the journey toward healing and growth. My practice is grounded in psychodynamic, systemic/family, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) principles, creating a collaborative and inclusive space for families to explore their unique stories. I deeply respect each individual’s culture, beliefs, values, and hopes, helping families better understand one another and reframe their shared narrative in a way that fosters connection and compassion.
In my work with families, I emphasize a strengths-based approach. Together, we uncover what each person does well, celebrate what they are proud of, and build on these strengths. I create an environment where everyone feels encouraged to share their experiences and to listen openly to one another. Every family brings their own hopes for change—some shared, some distinct—and I strive to help them discover common ground and move toward their goals with understanding and trust.
I am a dedicated child and adolescent professional with over 15 years of experience. This extensive background has provided me with a deep understanding of the behaviours and needs of children, young adults, parents, and families.
As a qualified Systemic Psychotherapist, I am passionate about helping families reconnect by offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. A cornerstone of my work has been building and nurturing trusting relationships with young people and families from diverse communities—particularly those who are hard to reach, difficult to engage, or in urgent need of emotional support.
I am a compassionate approach ensures that each family feels valued and empowered on their journey toward healing and growth.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
