My approach is warm and curious. As a systemic therapist, I help families, couples or individuals explore the many factors that may have led to a problem arising, what may be keeping it going and how they would prefer things to be. It’s a way of working that helps people tap into their strengths, reduces blame and opens up new ways to solve problems or get unstuck.
I am an experienced couple and family therapist working with individuals, couples or families who would like to improve something in their relationship/s or overcome a crisis or challenge. I see private clients in person in central Glasgow (or online), alongside work as a family therapist in a national charity. I previously worked in the NHS supporting individuals and family members when someone in the family had a mental health diagnosis.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
