Gestalt Psychotherapy
I help people navigate complex life experiences and relational patterns, when familiar ways of being in the world no longer serve them. My approach is Gestalt Therapy and my main instrument is my therapeutic presence.
My own therapeutic journey began 12 years ago, giving me a profound, first-hand understanding of the vulnerability and transformative potential of sitting in the client's chair. Today, in my private practice, I invite you into a safe, co-created space to explore your internal landscape and your ways of making contact with your environment.
I believe that sustainable change occurs not through striving for quick 'solutions', but through a deepening awareness of how you organize your experience in the present moment. I consider my own therapeutic presence to be my primary instrument in our work—a quality of being fully, authentically available that I am committed to cultivating and refining day by day.
To facilitate our process, I work dialogically and phenomenologically, with a significant emphasis on embodiment and somatic processes, holding a deep trust in your inherent capacity for organismic self-regulation.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
