Sarah’s approach is centred on reflection, curiosity, and the uncovering of links and different points of view that help to make sense of life experiences.
Sometimes our capacity for reflection and curiosity gets squeezed out by life patterns, or by traumatic events, and we need time and space to reconnect with ourselves and rediscover these states of mind. Then it becomes possible to notice things that may otherwise have been overlooked, normalised or held in disconnection. Patterns can emerge.
Sarah’s Group Analytic background means that social and cultural experiences are kept in view, including racism, inequality and intergenerational trauma.
Twice-weekly analytic psychotherapy is also available. This offers more intensity and focus partly because there is less time in-between sessions for defences to rebuild.
