My Approach

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic models to meet your individual needs. My core approach is Gestalt-based, focusing on the "here and now" while honouring the influence of your past. I also integrate Compassion-Focused Therapy, CBT techniques (especially for psychosexual concerns), and relational approaches, working both short and long term depending on your goals.

I work with individuals and couples on sexual dysfunction, intimacy difficulties, and relationship breakdown, and hold dedicated space for clients of colour navigating racial trauma and the impact of systemic inequity on identity and relationships.

Therapy can be challenging as well as transformative, and I won't shy away from that. I aim to walk alongside you with authenticity, empathy, and honest challenge, meeting you where you are while asking more of you when it counts.

About Me

I'm Sarah-Jane Otoo, a UKCP-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, Psychosexual Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. I have worked as a Psychotherapist for over 14 years and hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy.

I work with individuals and couples to explore their emotional, relational, and psychosexual wellbeing, and I have a particular interest in supporting Black and brown clients working through racial trauma and identity, and trainee therapists navigating their own personal therapy. Whether you're navigating life transitions, working through difficulties in relationships or intimacy, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, I offer a warm, collaborative, and honest space to support you.

I work online only, supporting clients all over the UK. I have limited day and evening availability, and offer a concessionary rate for psychotherapy students in training. I am currently accepting new clients, please get in touch.
