My therapeutic approach is integrative, pluralistic, somatic, creative, and grounded in Transactional Analysis, combining relational TA with body-based and trauma-informed methods to co-create individually tailored therapy with each client.
I’m a Certified Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist (CTA) and an integratively trained therapist, and for more than thirty years I’ve had the privilege of walking beside individuals, couples, and professionals as they navigate the rich, complicated terrain of being human. My early years in the mental health sector taught me something invaluable: people are astonishingly resilient, often surviving in ways that are as creative as they are courageous. Those lessons shaped me long before I opened my own practice.
My approach is integrative, pluralistic, and deeply creative — shaped by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to meeting each person where they are. I draw from a wide therapeutic toolkit, including EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), and body-based, trauma-informed methods, but I never assume that two journeys should look the same. I listen closely to the nervous system, to breath, to posture, to the tiny shifts that often whisper truths long before words arrive. Clients often describe my space as calm and steady, a place where the world slows down just enough for something new to emerge.
Alongside my clinical work, I teach and supervise other therapists. This part of my life keeps me vibrant — continually learning, questioning, stretching, and staying open. Every conversation with a colleague or supervisee deepens my understanding of what it means to be human, and keeps my practice grounded, ethical, and alive to the latest developments in psychotherapy and trauma recovery.
I welcome people from all backgrounds and identities, believing that every therapeutic relationship is a unique co-creation — a shared exploration shaped by trust, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to healing and growth.
And when I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find me immersed in the things that bring me back to myself: music, animals, the thrill of racing, and the ever-changing rhythms of the natural world. These passions keep me grounded and energised, reminding me that healing isn’t only a psychological process — it’s sensory, embodied, relational, and deeply, beautifully human.
