I welcome diversity and have a special interest in dyslexia and ADHD and its broad and long-term effects.
As an integrative therapist, I combine multiple methods to address the root causes of anxiety and stress. We will examine how past life experiences impact your daily wellbeing and learn to shift the stress they create. My approach integrates body-based feelings to identify and release negative emotional patterns, helping you move forward with greater clarity and calm.
I believe everyone is unique so I like to bring a flexible approach to our sessions. I have had an ‘Integrative’ training meaning I use many different therapeutic modes depending on your own particular circumstances.
There are many different reasons people start therapy.
It may be that life seems overwhelming, you might feel low, anxious, or stressed and just want someone to help.
You may feel like you keep repeating the same old patterns and it seems impossible to break the cycle.
Relationships with partners, friends and children can be tough and you may feel you can’t cope at times. You may have lost somebody close to you. Or it may be a curiosity or an urge to make life better, happier and more fulfilling.
Whatever the reason, I do believe that talking to a therapist can truly change lives for the better. I aim to help you get a clearer understanding of what is going on for you, a better idea of how you would like things to be and explore ways of how you can achieve this.
I have an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and am an accredited member of the UKCP, I also have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and am accredited with BACP.
