I am an Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my approach, and I see it as central to the process of change and healing. My sessions therefore prioritise creating a safe, non- judgmental space in which this can happen. As an integrative practitioner, I am able to draw on a wide range of theoretical perspectives to inform my work, including attachment theory, psychoanalytic theory, neuroscience, and body work. I use the arts (including traditional art materials but also mediums such as the sandtray, puppets and drama) to support the exploration of feelings that can often be difficult to put into words. I am a trauma-informed practitioner and work mindfully with the body to support those who have experienced trauma to process their experiences so that they can learn to feel safe in their bodies again.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
