About Me

Compassionate and creative integrative counselling psychotherapist supporting children
and adolescents with complex emotional, developmental, and relational needs as well as
adults and teams around the children. Skilled in combining psychodynamic, Gestalt,
attachment theory, play and art therapy, CBT, and experiential methods to foster emotional
expression and growth. Strong background in working with SEND population, including nonverbal
children, within educational, residential, and therapeutic settings. Committed to
relational, trauma-informed, and inclusive practice, with a particular focus on attachment,
developmental trauma, emotional regulation and identity development. Experienced in
multi-agency collaboration and reflective supervision, with a deep passion for advocacy,
emotional attunement, and facilitating lasting therapeutic change.

My Approach

My approach integrates psychodynamic and attachment-based understanding with creative, experiential and nervous-system-informed ways of working. Depending on the needs of the individual, this may include play, sensory materials, metaphor, emotional regulation work and equine-assisted therapeutic practice.
