As a Gestalt psychotherapist, I work in the Here and Now, paying attention to your present experience and the patterns that emerge in your thoughts, feelings, relationships and ways of being. Through increasing awareness, it becomes possible to recognise long-established ways of relating to yourself and others, and to discover new possibilities for choice, flexibility and change.
I work with individuals and couples in a dedicated therapy space in central Brighton and online. I offer both short-term and longer-term counselling and psychotherapy, depending on your needs. I work in an LGBTQ+ affirmative way.
If you feel that this approach resonates with you, I invite you to explore my website or get in touch.
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or dissatisfied with your life, despite appearing to have things together on the outside. Perhaps you have invested significant time and energy in understanding yourself through self-help books, workshops or personal development practices, yet still find yourself caught in familiar patterns of self-criticism, overthinking or a persistent sense that something isn't quite right.
You might feel disconnected from yourself, uncertain about what you truly need, or frustrated that the changes you have worked so hard to create never seem to last. The more you try to improve yourself, the more exhausting and overwhelming the process becomes.
I offer a space where we can slow down and explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion. Together, we can make room for the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, dismissed or pushed aside. Therapy offers an opportunity not only to understand what is happening, but to develop a deeper relationship with yourself.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
