About Me

Hello, I'm Sally,

I am a qualified psychotherapist with experience of working with clients in both short term and long term counselling.

I have experience of helping with anxiety, depression, feelings of helplessness, abuse of different kinds, physical and emotional. Clients have included those who couldn't make sense of their lives, some who have found it hard to step outside of their front door feeling like they have lost control of their lives. I will help you to feel that you have a safe place to be without being judged and develop self trust so that you can make the decisions and choices to help you move forward in your life.
I have also worked with students on counselling/psychotherapy courses.

If you feel I can help you, e mail me I will get back to you. You might want to have an introductory phone call so that I can answer any questions you may have.
Sessions are £55 online or face to face at Matlock Therapy Rooms.
The Matlock Therapy Centre has easy access and is 5 minutes walk from Matlock train station, which has direct links to Derby and Nottingham. Buses (X17) link directly to Chesterfield and Sheffield .

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have worked with a charity for many years for those who have survived child sexual abuse and believe that healing is possible. Experience has shown this to me many times. A trusting counselling relationship can lead eventually to self trust and with this the possibilities of coping with difficult feelings and emotions and viewing the future with hope and the resilience to cope.
