Hello, If you are reading this, you may be experiencing that life doesn't get easy all the time and it might challenge our coping system.
We need to learn new ways, and fast. As people, we are wired to be relational and need each other to maintain satisfactory quality of life.
I'm a humanistic, person- centred, relational psychotherapist.
I believe that people are born with a huge potential to develop individually and within relationships and, with a right support, are able to improve their life, at any age.
I offer therapy as safe space where we explore together the client's difficulties (and strengths :) and look for personally tailored solutions . I may not have all the answers but they often naturally emerge as the therapy journey goes on.
I'm a bilingual psychotherapist, working in English and Polish.
I hold a master degree in:
- Person- Centred and Experiential Psychotherapy, completed in Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute in Nottingham, UK,
- Psychology, completed in Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland.
I have experience in general counselling (depression, anxiety, personal and work related stress, relational issues, bereavement, impact of trauma), workplace counselling, as well as working therapeutically with children.
For the past 20 years, I have also been working in social care, education and mental health in the UK and Poland.
In my spare time, I love being in nature, practice yoga and mindfulness, cycle, do creative DIY.
I hold a special place for my 2 (fluffy, not fat! 😆) cats.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
