My Approach

I have a love for creativity, welcoming individuals to bring song and music to the therapy room, as well as dreams, active imagination and imagery. I love to learn about individuals spiritual beliefs too and how individuals find meaning.

I love to be beside individuals as they develop confidence from social anxiety, extreme shyness, feelings of not belonging or with those who feel they don't quite fit societies expectations or society scripts.

Couples in Therapy

I really enjoy working with couples. It can feel very difficult for couples to take the first steps towards therapy, yet I try to reduce any shame in this process through using models which explore identified themes which cause dynamics between couples, hopefully offering couples a space for encouraging self learning, reflection and curiosity. I often see couples who are very committed to each other yet are looking to improve and strengthen their relationship.

About Me

I appreciate how difficult it must be to try and find a therapist between many profiles and decide who you may find a connection with.

I am hoping by saying a little about what interests me, I can help you know if I can be the right choice for you.

I was drawn to Psychotherapy whilst I was working within crisis, respite and rehabilitation services in the community. I was searching for ways for individuals to understand themselves at a deeper level, to find meaning in chaos and some rootedness in the storms of life.

I learned how Psychotherapy can help by exploring what is not in our conscious awareness. This includes methods of exploring subconscious modelling and the messages we received about who we are in the world and in relationship with others.

After studying Psychology I began a nine year romance with Psychotherapy. in which I dug into my own subconscious and challenged my own conceptions, before expanding my learning in the directions of Jungian Psychology and Parts Work Psychology.

I draw upon models that help identify individuals personal self stories or narratives. I love being beside individuals as they figure what gives them life energy, whilst exploring any patterns that are repeating themselves in individuals lives, which need insight and understanding.
