I offer back and forth discussion, laughter and celebration of positives, with no painful silences. I work collaboratively to share power, exploring situations and feelings with you. I aim to offer you a personally negotiated space where you can be yourself. I will be non-judgemental, calm and open to all that you are experiencing or have experienced.
I know how hard it can be to take that first step towards asking for help and that there may be many barriers to change. I trust in your capacity to know what’s right for you and will never tell you what to do. You are the expert on your life but we all need someone alongside us. Please reach out if you’re ready to build a meaningful therapeutic partnership.
I specialise in neurodivergence but can support anyone living with feelings of low self-esteem, depression, overwhelm/burn out, stress, anxiety/panic, trauma or imposter syndrome. I’m also a parent of school-age children so understand how tough those stages can be too. My practice is person-centred, neuro-affirming, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, anti-racist and anti-oppressive. My pronouns are she/her.
I adhere to the UKCP Code of Ethics and Professional Practice (2019).
I have three years of experience with clients and an MSc in Person-Centred and Experiential Psychotherapy. My research projects focussed on how autistic clients experience verbalised/non-verbalised unconditional positive regard, and mutuality, collaboration and "double empathy" with an AuDHD client.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
