My Approach

Embarking on a therapeutic journey can be a significant step. To help alleviate any concerns, I offer a complimentary initial phone consultation where we can explore your needs and discuss how we might collaborate effectively. I work with clients from various backgrounds and cultures and I specialize in helping people with neurodiversity.

My sessions are client-led, and my approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirmative.

I can help with issues such as relationship problems, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, bereavement and loss, sexual orientation, anger management and relationships with ourselves and others. I am also interested in existential concerns about deriving meaning and motivation. I bring this understanding to my practice.

About Me

Psychotherapy offers a profound journey of self-discovery and interpersonal understanding. Whether you're navigating life's challenges or aspiring to reach your full potential, I provide a confidential and compassionate space for exploration and growth. Through individualized psychotherapy sessions, tailored to your unique needs, we'll delve into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, fostering a deeper awareness of yourself and your relationships. Together, we'll work towards greater insight, resilience, and fulfilment.

I am a qualified psychotherapist and psychotherapeutic counsellor offering sessions in English or Polish. I work compassionately and creatively, creating opportunities to explore your relationship with yourself and others through your strengths and weaknesses. My approach is particularly informed by my interest in existential concerns, helping clients explore questions around meaning and purpose in their lives.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Neurodiversity including ADHD and Autism. I am a compassionate and neurodivergent psychotherapist dedicated to supporting neurodivergent clients, particularly those whose neurodivergence has been missed, misdiagnosed, or identified late. I understand the unique challenges these individuals face and strive to empower them to embrace their individuality and brilliance while navigating the complexities of their experiences.
I often draw upon the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) approach to guide clients through the intricate journey of processing trauma and cultivating resilience. My practice is anchored in the profound belief that "I'm OK, You're OK," fostering a nurturing environment where individuals can safely explore their struggles and gradually reveal their true selves. Many of my clients arrive after years of feeling disconnected, having masked or mirrored their identities to fit in. This can lead to profound exhaustion and the need for fresh coping strategies.
For neurodivergent people, relationships may sometimes feel like navigating a maze of unspoken rules and social expectations, yet these connections, when nurtured with patience and understanding, can offer a deep sense of belonging. In therapy, we unearth the strengths that come from neurodiverse ways of being, transforming perceived limitations into opportunities for deeper empathy, authentic communication, and a more profound bond with others.
In addition to my work with individuals, I work as an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) specialist, collaborating with management to cultivate inclusive workplaces. I aim to foster a culture of understanding where every employee feels valued and supported.
