I offer a boundaried and confidential space. I will listen and give you time to talk through, explore and reflect upon what is on your mind. We will think together to help you make sense of your experiences.
I work from a psychodynamic and relational perspective. I am interested in our patterns of relating and responses to life situations, many of which have their origins in our childhood experiences. As adults these often shape and influence our relationships, our beliefs and lives in ways in which we may not be fully aware of and lead us in directions and to making choices that are not always helpful and can leave us feeling stuck.
I will support you to find your own way of moving forward to make positive changes and develop and deepen your resources to face the different encounters and challenges that life can at times present us with.
I am a Psychotherapist/Group Analyst and Music Therapist (HCPC reg.).
I offer individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapy. I have been working therapeutically for over twenty years in a variety of settings and organisations including the NHS, hospices, higher education and voluntary sector.
I practice as an independent psychotherapist in central Cardiff.
