I use an integrative approach depending on which type of therapy works best for the client. Psychodynamic therapy explores how childhood influences the current problem; systemic therapy works on family and relationships; CBT targets specific issues in thoughts and behaviour like rumination, anxiety, fear of death, and depression; and my foundation is person-centred, which means I aim to create safety and fit my approach in response to each client.
I am an integrative psychotherapist and work with individuals, couples, or families. I use creative approaches to psychotherapy that seek to build safety and trust with people. Feedback from clients has been that I am warm and gentle in my approach, but I have the skills and care to challenge people who need support in overcoming trauma, making life changes, becoming aware of hidden emotions, and finding a route away from anxiety or depression. My specialist area is in supporting people who struggle to tune into and communicate their emotions, particularly people who have grown and lived in contexts where emotional communication is discouraged or unsafe. I can help with anxiety, depression, behaviour or anger issues, suicidality, relationship issues, couple, or family issues.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
