Central to my way of working is an emphasis on developing a real and empathic relationship with my clients. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and theories but my relationship with my clients is always to the fore. It is my belief that if we can build a trusting and authentic relationship then we can work together to explore whatever difficulties are being faced.
I am committed to working with my clients to help them to become more accepting of themselves and also to feel more able to make the positive changes that they may seek.
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling from the Bath Centre of Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC) and a Post-Qualifying Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People. I am a Registered Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and an Accredited Member of British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am committed to the highest professional standards in my work
