As an Integrative therapist I draw upon different models of psychotherapy, unique to each client, adjusting them to your needs.
I work relationally, so emphasise and bring into awareness relational patterns which may exist and be impacting your emotional wellbeing. I bring trust and warmth to our therapeutic relationship.
My name is Rebecca Mitchell and I am a Leeds-based UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist. I completed four years of training in Relational Integrative Psychotherapy at a UKCP-accredited institute.
I provide one-to-one emotional support in a confidential, non-clinical setting. I will work with you to explore and help you with any issues you are struggling with.
I am extremely passionate about emotional wellbeing and have a lifetime of awareness, experience and caregiving. It has come with its trauma and pain, which ultimately led me to a period of learning and self-reflection and training as a Psychotherapist.
I also hold an undergraduate and Master’s degree in Psychology. In addition to this, I have experience in an NHS placement and in voluntary roles within mental health and social care organisations including as an Anxiety Helpliner.
