My Approach

As a Gestalt psychotherapist, I offer a space where we can explore together how your past experiences and relationships continue to shape your life today — how they echo in the way you feel, respond, and relate.

Gestalt therapy is not just about talking about things. It's about being curious together in the moment: noticing what’s happening, trying something new, allowing space for what hasn’t yet been spoken or felt. Sometimes that means exploring a pattern more deeply; other times, it might be about finding a different way to respond or express yourself, right there in the room.

This way of working is active, creative, and grounded in the belief that change grows from awareness. By staying with what’s unfolding in the here and now, in your body, your emotions, your thoughts, we make space for something new to emerge, and for change to happen.

About Me

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, caught in patterns that are hard to shift, or navigating changes you can’t quite name, therapy can offer a grounded space to reconnect, with yourself, and with others.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and the emotional impact of a mental health diagnosis. I also support those exploring identity, belonging, and cross-cultural experiences, including feeling caught between cultures, or unsure where “home” really is.

People often come to therapy when something no longer feels manageable, even if they can’t explain exactly why. You don’t need to have the answers, just a sense that something in you is ready for change. I offer a space where your full experience is welcomed and met with care.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with people who live with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence. I see these not as problems to be fixed, but as different ways of being and processing the world. Together, we explore how this shows up for you, with curiosity, not judgement, and look at what supports your self-understanding, sense of direction, and agency. My academic background includes research on ADHD, which supports the way I approach this work, with nuance, not labels. My aim is to create a space where you can discover what works for you, rather than trying to fit someone else’s model of how things “should” be.
In Gestalt therapy, anxiety is often seen as something that pulls us out of the present, shaped by past experiences or worries about the future. I work with people to gently notice how anxiety shows up in their bodies, their breath, their relationships, and how it can get in the way of what they want or need. Together we explore ways to build the support you need to feel more grounded and connected, so you can respond to life in a way that fits you, rather than feeling driven by your anxiety.
I work with people who have moved between cultures, lived abroad, or spent time in international or diplomatic settings. These experiences can affect how we see ourselves, where we feel we belong, and how connected we feel to others. Sometimes, what others see on the outside doesn’t match how we feel inside, and therapy can be a space to explore that, make sense of it, and feel more grounded in who you are.
I offer training and reflective spaces for practitioners, drawing on clinical, cross-cultural, and embodied experience. My CPD-accredited workshops support therapists in deepening trauma-informed practice, embodied presence, and relational awareness, with particular attention to identity, cultural context, and the layered complexity that can arise in therapeutic work.
As a Gestalt psychotherapist, I take a non-pathologising approach to trauma and mental health struggles, seeing them as responses to life experience, not signs of something “wrong.” My background includes working in psychiatric care, supporting people in crisis, and leading therapeutic groups. I work in a way that recognises how emotional distress is often shaped by a person’s relationships, environment, or lived experience, and I aim to hold that with care and dignity.
