My Approach

My approach to psychotherapy is driven by whatever you are wrestling with at that moment, and this forms the starting point for our conversation. Ultimately the aim is to understand how you think, and how these thoughts impact your understanding of yourself and the world. In return I tend to be fairly open about what I'm thinking.

While the decision to start therapy can be daunting, it marks a valuable step forward. During the consultation I can help you to decide if this is right for you. Along with hearing what makes life difficult, it is important to recognise the strengths that have carried you to this point. These are strengths we can build upon.

About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist working in Central London and Southwark. I have been in private practice since 2013. I see individuals and couples with a wide range of experiences, from depression to anxiety. My specialties include helping people with feeling lost, lacking direction, anger issues, sex and relationships, and problems around eating.

I trained at ChildLine, The Guild of Psychotherapists, and the Tavistock Couples Unit.

I am a member of the UKCP and work under its code of ethics.

Before training as a therapist I spent 15 years working as a software engineer.
