My integrative approach means I draw on a range of therapeutic models, adapting my work to each individual. I support clients with anxiety, low mood, emotional and behavioural difficulties, neurodiversity, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions.
The therapeutic relationship is central to my work. Feeling safe, seen, and understood allows for deeper exploration and supports the processing of emotions and experiences that may be difficult to put into words. With younger children, I incorporate play and creative materials to support expression in a natural and engaging way. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), which can support the processing of traumatic or distressing experiences. I offer EMDR to children, adolescents, and adults.
I am an Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with over 12 years of experience supporting children, young people, and their families across a range of primary and secondary school settings, as well as in private practice. I work with children aged 5–18, as well as young adults, and currently work as a school counsellor alongside my private practice.
I offer a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental space where children, young people and adults can feel safe to explore what is going on for them. Whether difficulties arise from internal struggles or life circumstances, therapy can provide a consistent space to express, reflect, and begin to make sense of their experiences.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
