As a psychotherapist with over 9 years of experience, I understand that life can present unique challenges, especially for those navigating new cultures and experiences as immigrants or refugees.
I am fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English.
I work with individuals dealing with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship struggles, trauma and life crises. I have a strong understanding of how to explore and maintain identity. Also I know how to foster new relationships with friends, colleagues, and partners, as well as how to transform and preserve existing ones.
Having experienced the challenges of moving and adjusting to new countries myself, I deeply understand what it takes to navigate this transition. Through my own experience, I have learned how to maintain a sense of identity while integrating into a new culture. This journey has given me both professional insight and a deep personal understanding of the emotional challenges involved, placing me in the best position to support others facing similar transitions.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
