My Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I draw on a range of perspectives to shape the work around you and your individual situation. I’m particularly influenced by relational, psychodynamic, and existential approaches, though you don’t need to know anything about these — I’ll always explain things in a way that feels clear, relevant, and grounded in your experience.

At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy should feel personal and collaborative. Rather than following a fixed model, I aim to adapt the work to your pace, your experiences, and what you’re going through, creating a space where you can think more freely and begin to understand yourself in new ways.

I have experience supporting people with a range of difficulties, including:

Relationship difficulties (romantic, family, friendships, and work relationships)

Complex family or marital dynamics

Trauma and complex trauma (cPTSD)

Difficulties with self-esteem, identity, and sense of self

Anger and managing strong emotions

Anxiety and depression

Processing significant life events and transitions

I offer a sliding scale fee of £45–£60, depending on what feels manageable for you.

About Me

My name is Nisa and I am a psychotherapist working with adult individuals, both online and face to face.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may feel dissatisfied or distressed, want to explore your past, process difficult life experiences, work towards personal goals, or develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Psychotherapy can be a meaningful and sometimes life-changing process.

I place particular importance on developing a safe, trusting, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Within this space, we work together to build a shared understanding of your difficulties, including how they affect your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and relationships.

My speciality is helping people understand and change relationship patterns shaped by early attachment, trauma, and emotional experience.
