My philosophy is that in therapy, I show up for you and hope that you bring your whole self to the session. You will find that my style is based on empathy and a supportive, non-judgemental stance; where appropriate, I will offer you a gentle challenge and share my understanding. I strongly believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationships that the clients and the psychotherapist develop is key to successful therapy.
As a fully qualified psychotherapist, I work with individuals, couples and other formats of relationships from my practice in Cambridge and west London. I am primarily trained in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, yet I integrate many aspects of other psychological modalities into the way that I work. This allows me to tailor my approach to the uniqueness of each client and their circumstances.
I have extensive background in international education and have a good grasp on challenges that corporate environments present.
Having moved to the UK nearly two decades ago, I relate easily to the complexity of building a new life in a foreign culture and understand the challenges that cross-cultural relationships may bring up.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
